5th World Summit on Media for Children

24-28 March 2007

The programme for the 5th World Summit on Media for Children is the culmination of a series of pre-summit activities held locally and across the globe.  The development of the agenda has been made possible with the many inputs and suggestions flowing from these activities.

Voices of more than 90 countries will participate and it was therefore necessary for us to bring a diverse tapestry of expertise and knowledge to this Summit.

We encourage continuous discussion and debate that will lead to an integrated multi-media policy framework. We have taken on board suggestions to include more workshops to enable hands-on training and skills transfer. We thank each of you for your contributions and commitment to this process.

To all our children who have traveled both domestically and internationally, we welcome you to the Summit and look forward to your full participation at this event.

Please take note of the programme and dont forget the interactive exhibition activities. Have a wonderful time with us.

Whilst every effort has been made to include the names of speakers, there will no doubt be amendments during the event thats what makes our work in the childrens media space so interesting and exciting!
